Went to the doctor yesterday. It's official, there's definitely a bun in this oven! How exciting yet terrifying. I never realized how frightening pregnancy would be... and I'm only just starting! I can't imagine how terrified I will be by the time this baby is ready to be born.
The doctor said that as of right now they are guessing I am 5 weeks and 3 days along. Not very far along, so we're still keeping it on the DL until we are in the clear of a miscarriage. The doctor did an ultrasound but didn't think she would be able to see anything. She was able to see some sort of sac?! Ha, I'm new to the preggo lingo. I'm honestly not too sure what she was looking at but I did see some sort of a black blob and I was told that was a good thing! I'm only just beginning the joys of morning sickness and all that good stuff that goes along with making a baby. Dr says to hold on tight because within the next few weeks it's going to get a million times worse... oh joy! I can't wait for that, pff. That's all for now. I will update as new things start coming along. The next appointment is Jan. 5th... Hopefully by then I will be able to actually see something on the ultrasound! Toodles.
